A fabulous book for using Charm Packs (5" squares) or Layer Cakes (10" squares)!  Carrie Nelson writes in a fun and friendly style, covering all the basics of quilting with pre-cuts and how to put the pieces together.  Ms. Nelson covers 12 delightful quilt patterns, each with a small and large option--the small quilts using 5" squares and the large quilts using 10" squares--how clever is that?

The author also shares great little inspirational quotes throughout the book.  My favorite is this one:  "The drawback to a journey that has been too well planned is that it does not leave enough room for adventure."  --Andre Gide
