FAQ

Will I get a confirmation email?

Yes, you should automatically receive a confirmation email. If you tried to place an order, but did not get a confirmation, please send me an email using the "Contact Us" page. It is likely that I can retrieve your order and get things figured out.

How come the coupon code won't work in PayPal?

The coupon and discount codes I offer won't work at the PayPal website. They only work during the checkout process on this website. From your shopping cart, choose the brown "Proceed to Checkout" button. At Step 4 in the checkout process, there is a space for the discount code to be entered below the Order Total amount. This is also the step where you can choose your payment option, including a PayPal option for payment so that you may pay with PayPal or with your credit card.

How long will it take to get my order?

Packages will generally be sent USPS Priority Mail in a Flat Rate Envelope or Box, depending on the size of the order.  When youre shipping is less than $4.75 you oreder will ship First Class Mail. When shipped Priority Mail, you will receive a delivery confirmation number and the actual shipping should only take 2-3 days in the mail.

When your order is only patterns, it will most likely be shipped via First Class Mail. Shipping times for First Class mail can vary, depending on your location. Items ship from Washington State.

I make every effort to ship orders within 24-48 hours of recieving the orders.  However, there are sometimes circumstances which make it take longer, particularly if you place an order on the weekend or if there is a sale with lots of orders.

Is the fabric 100% cotton?

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, all fabrics are 100% cotton, and 42"/44" wide. Also, please note that fabrics are not intended for children's sleepwear and do not meet flammability requirements to be used as children's sleepwear.

Do you take credit cards or do I have to use PayPal?

Yes! PayPal's buttons tend to be big and flashy, but I most definitely take credit cards. At the end of the checkout process you will be able to use your VISA, MasterCard or Discover--just don't click on the big PayPal button, use the brown "proceed to checkout" button.

Do you allow local customers to pick up orders?

If you live in the Seattle Eastside area and would like to pick up your order instead of paying for shipping, send me an email. I'm happy to arrange something--generally meeting at a local coffee shop or grocery store works well.

What do I do if I forgot to order something and have already placed my order?

You can go ahead and place a second order, and put a message in the comments that you are adding to a previous order.  I will combine the orders and refund any excess shipping that you might have paid. Alternately, you can choose the local pickup option if you've already paid shipping in the first order.

Similarly, if you forgot to add the discount code to your order, please contact me as soon as possible and I will refund the overage.

What if I buy something and it later goes on sale, can I have the difference refunded?

If you notice that something that you purchased is on sale after you bought it, I will refund the difference if the sale is within 5 days of your purchase and this ONLY applies when a specific item goes on sale. For instance, if I offer 20% off a specifc fabric collection or pattern designer, I will give you the discount if you purchased that fabric within the previous 5 days. However, a more general percentage off or your order or a general fabric category--such as a manufacturer or class like "flannels" cannot be refunded. I am not trying to be unfair, I am just wanting to be sure that I can keep my shop in business, so I try to create policies that are fair to the customer and to the shop as well.  Thank you for your understanding!

Do you sell wholesale?

I like to support cottage industry buy purchasing handmade, and I'd like to be able to offer a discount to those who sell handmade item sold at botiques, craft fairs, Etsy or other such venues.  If that is something that intersts you, please let me know.  If there is enough interest, I will put something into place.
